Dover Street Market

 Set across six floors, Dover Street Market London offers a unique shopping experience. This multi-brand retailer was originally situated on Dover Street, Mayfair, but has since moved locations and is now just minutes away from the National Gallery.

Dover Street Market was created by Rei Kawakubo and features stores in countries worldwide, such as Singapore, Tokyo and Los Angeles. It offers the very best in luxury shopping and boasts world-class brands, including Balenciaga and Supreme. Head here to browse wonderful avant-garde fashion.

 

Getting to Dover Street Market

Dover Street Market is easily accessible via the Tube. The closest Tube station is Piccadilly Circus on the Piccadilly (dark blue) and Bakerloo (brown) lines.

 

Sloane Street

 Sloane Street is known for being one of the world’s most luxurious shopping locations. Home to various high-end fashion stores, including Tom Ford and Gucci, it’s the perfect place to while away a few hours of retail therapy.

This area also boasts some magnificent shop displays, so it’s a great spot for a bit of window shopping.

Sloane Street is located in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from Sloane Square Station, which is served by the District (green) and Circle (yellow) lines.

 

Harrods

Located in Knightsbridge, Harrods is one of London’s most famous shops, made up of 1.1 million square feet of luxury shopping space. It’s home to seven floors and 330 sections – including a market hall and gift selections – making it the biggest department store in Europe.

Here you’ll find a huge range of decadent homeware, food, fashion and technology products. It’s particularly worth visiting Harrods in the evening, as the store is lit up with over 11,000 light bulbs – a spectacular sight.

To get to Harrods, take the Piccadilly (dark blue) line to Knightsbridge Station and walk three minutes from there.

 

The Royal Exchange

 The Royal Exchange is an elegant shopping area set in a historic building in Central London. Here you’ll find several luxury stores, including Paul Smith and Jo Malone London. The Royal Exchange also features a luxury café and bar, where you can enjoy a bite to eat against a picturesque backdrop.

King’s Road

King’s Road is a major street stretching for nearly two miles through Chelsea and Fulham. It’s one of the best shopping locations across the city, lined with department stores and high street shops.   

King’s Road is home to the much-loved department store Peter Jones, as well as several independent shops and interior design stores. You’ll also find plenty of places to eat and drink here – ideal for when you need a quick break from shopping.

To get to King’s Road, take the District (green) or Circle (yellow) line to Sloane Square Tube Station. From the station, it’s only a short walk to your destination.

 

Bond Street

Located in the heart of Mayfair, Bond Street is one of London’s most iconic luxury shopping spots. It’s recognised across the globe for its abundance of elegant flagship stores and prestigious brands, including Jimmy Choo, Burberry and Louis Vuitton. In fact, Bond Street is actually home to the biggest Louis Vuitton store in Europe, consisting of four floors.  

Head to Bond Street’s southern section, Old Bond Street, to browse fine jewellery shops such as Cartier and Tiffany & Co. Or walk over to the northern section, New Bond Street, to wander around fashion houses such as Dior and Chanel.

You can get to Bond Street Tube Station by taking the Central (red) line or the Jubilee (silver) line.

 

Fortnum & Mason

Established in 1707, Fortnum & Mason is an upmarket department store located in Piccadilly. Here you’ll find all sorts of items, from fine foods to homeware products, fragrances to beauty must-haves. This store is particularly famous for its wicker hampers filled with an assortment of treats. It’s also well-known for its tea and sells all the accessories you need to make the perfect hot beverage, from infusers to teapots.

Fortnum & Mason is only a short walk from Piccadilly Circus Tube Station on the Piccadilly (dark blue) and Bakerloo (brown) lines.
