The Sage Gateshead

The Sage Gateshead hosts a wide range of music performances and is the centre for musical education in the North East of England. Past performers include Lynyrd Skynyrd, Goldfrapp, James Brown and Sunn O))).

The distinctive building was designed by award winning architecture firm Foster and Partners and was officially opened in December 2004.
