Coronavirus infectious disease (COVID-19)

Following announcements from the UK and Irish governments, Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels in the United Kingdom will open from the 4th July. Jurys Inn hotels in the Republic of Ireland will open on the 29th June.

We will continue to update the information on this page to ensure we keep our guests up to date with changes across the group.

We plan to re-open our hotels as soon as it is permitted and safe to do so. If you have any queries please email reservations@jurysinns.com and we will respond to you as soon as possible.

The team at Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels look forward to welcoming our guests back to our hotels sometime soon.

What happens to my booking?

If you have paid for a booking that has now been cancelled due to hotel closure:
If you booked directly with us via voice or JurysInns.com or Leonardohotels.co.uk, you will receive a refund from us. Due to the COVID-19 crisis your refund may take up to 90 days. Otherwise you will need to contact the 3rd party you booked with to process your refund.

If you have not paid for a booking that has now been cancelled due to hotel closure:
Your reservation is cancelled, you will not be charged and no further action is required.

 

Safety is our priority

At Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels, our priority as always is the health and wellbeing of all our teams, their families and our guests. We are closely monitoring and reviewing the advice issued by national health organisations, as well as the World Health Organisation and we are taking all appropriate actions and precautionary measures within our hotels and across all of our operating offices.

Flexible bookings

We want to reassure all guests and visitors to our many hotels that the quality, service and safety measures we’ve put in place are to the highest standards. However, to further support guests during this uncertain period, we are providing the following flexible booking options:

If you booked directly with us via voice or jurysinns.com, you will automatically receive a refund from us. We are working through reservations systematically, due to the volume as a result of the COVID-19 crisis your refund may take up to 90 days.

If your booking was made through Booking.com or Expedia, your booking will be automatically cancelled and your refund will be processed 90 days upon our receipt of the cancellation.

If your booking was via another 3rd party, please contact them directly to process your refund.

All non-refundable bookingsBefore 13th MarchBefore 30th September 2020

From July, once our hotels have reopened, your booking can be amended to a new date with any difference in value due by you or credited to your booking.

Please email reservations@jurysinns.com and we will endeavour to respond within 72 hours.

Semi Flexible rate - offers a discount on our Flexible Booking rate and allows you to make any changes or cancel you booking up to 48 hours the before your arrival day.

Flexible Booking rate – allows you to make any changes or cancel your booking up to 3pm the day before your arrival day.

If you do have to cancel your booking, and you booked directly with us via voice or jurysinns.com, please email reservations@jurysinns.com and we will endeavour to respond within 72 hours, and process your refund 14 days later.

If you booked through a third party, e.g. Booking.com, please contact the third party directly.

*Leonardo Edinburgh City, Leonardo Edinburgh Murrayfield, and Leonardo Inn Glasgow West End will reopen on 1st August.
Leonardo Royal London City will reopen on 27th August.

Jurys Inn London Holborn will reopen on 28th August.
Jurys Inn Hinckley Island will reopen on 1st September.




In hotel payments

In the interest of your safety and that of our staff, we cannot accept cash payments at this time. We kindly request the use of credit cards and contactless payment only during your stay. With many thanks for your cooperation


Advice to Guests and Employees

If you've become ill in our hotel or feel you may have been in close contact with someone with confirmed Coronavirus (COVID-19):

      1. Call reception immediately. Our reception team will contact the Local Health Authorities on your behalf. If you call the Local Health Authorities yourself, please advise our reception team immediately.
      2. Stay in your hotel room.
      3. Avoid contact with other guests or employees.


The symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19) are:

      • a cough
      • a high temperature
      • shortness of breath


World Health Organization definition of a close contact:

      • Any individual who has had greater than 15 minutes face-to-face (<2 metres Distance)  with a confirmed case of Coronavirus (COVID-19)
      • Household contacts defined as living or sleeping in the same home, individuals in shared accommodation sharing kitchen or bathroom facilities.

      • England, Northern Ireland, Scotland & Wales - Please visit the NHS website for the latest information and contact details in relation to Coronavirus (COVID-19).
