With her infectious grunt and affinity for jumping in muddy puddles, Peppa Pig has been entertaining toddlers for almost a decade. This lovable character has become the most popular pig on television since Miss Piggy, reaching the heights of Barney the Dinosaur.  

Little Peppa Pig fans will love Peppa Pig World. The attraction is in Paultons Park near Southampton and offers an exciting day out, with nine themed rides and the chance to meet favourite characters from the show. Where is Peppa Pig World?

Set in the New Forest National Park, Peppa Pig World UK is easily accessible from the M27. If you’re travelling by train, the nearest stations are Southampton Airport Parkway and Southampton Central.

 

When is the best time to visit Peppa Pig World?

What age is Peppa Pig World suitable for?

This attraction is suitable for children aged one to six. Bear in mind that the George’s Dinosaur Adventure ride has a 0.85 metre height restriction, so it’s a good idea to measure your kids before you visit.

 

Rides and attractions

Hampshire-based Paultons Park launched Peppa Pig World in 2011, adding a significant string to its entertainment bow. There are nine rides for families to enjoy, from Daddy Pig’s Car Ride to the Windy Castle Ride. There are also several Peppa Pig destinations to explore, including The Campervan and Grandad Pig’s House. These attractions provide plenty of fun for children, where they can immerse themselves in the world of Peppa Pig.

 

Sailing rides

Get ready for a sailing adventure with exciting boat-themed rides. Grandpa Pig has his very own boat and enjoys sailing with Peppa and George. Hop aboard Grandpa Pig’s Boat Trip or have an adventure on the Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club ride. Featuring brightly coloured boats, these rides promise lots of excitement.  

 

Car and train rides 

With two vehicle rides to choose from, including Daddy Pig’s Car Ride and Grandpa Pig’s Little Train, there’s plenty to entertain little Peppa Pig fans. Children will love waving to everyone on the train ride!

 

Airborne rides

Take in incredible views across the theme park with Peppa Pig World’s airborne rides, including The Queen’s Flying Coach Ride, the Windy Castle Ride, Peppa’s Big Balloon Ride and Miss Rabbit’s Helicopter Flight.

 

Character-themed rides

George’s Dinosaur Adventure ride is inspired by George Pig’s favourite teddy. Hop on the dinosaur’s back and enjoy this fun character-themed attraction.

 

Other attractions

Peppa Pig World offers plenty of other amazing attractions, including:

  • Peppa Pig’s House—kids can look inside and see where Peppa Pig lives
  • Grandpa Pig’s House—this blue house is the home of Grandpa Pig and Granny Pig
  • Paddling Ducks—see the cheeky paddling ducks at Peppa Pig World’s duck pond
  • George’s Spaceship Indoor Playzone—an ideal place for little ones to let off some steam, the indoor playzone features slides, climbing structures and themed areas like Peppa’s Recycling Centre
  • Muddy Puddles area—children can have fun splashing through puddles in the Muddy Puddles area

Little ones can also have their photo taken with the show’s most popular characters, George and Peppa Pig. See if you can spot them as you make your way around the park!

 

 Food, drink and shopping

When it’s time to stop for a rest and a bite to eat, visitors have a few places to choose from. Daddy Pig’s Café and The Queen’s Kitchen are great options for lunch, serving pizza and a range of snacks, drinks and treats. Afterwards, head to Miss Rabbit's Ice Cream Parlour for delicious ice cream.

At the end of your visit, stop off at Peppa’s Toy Shop, the world’s largest Peppa Pig-themed shop. Packed with all sorts of merchandise, including soft toys, keyrings and photo frames, it’s a fantastic place to grab a souvenir on your way out.

 

Places to visit nearby

Southampton is only a short drive from Peppa Pig World, offering activities and attractions for all ages. From its many museums to indoor play centres, the city has plenty to keep kids entertained.

Head to the SeaCity Museum to learn about Southampton’s maritime history, or check out the Solent Sky Museum to find out about aviation in the city. For a lovely afternoon out, visit Manor Farm, just a short drive from Southampton’s city centre. Here, children can see all kinds of farmyard animals, such as sheep, pigs and alpacas. Or for a rainy-day activity, Jungle Jeans is an indoor play centre with soft play shapes and sensory toys.
