National SEA LIFE Centre Birmingham  

Located in Birmingham’s city centre, the National Sea Life Centre promises a fun day out for kids and adults alike. Here you can learn about the underwater world and witness all sorts of amazing creatures, from octopuses to penguins. Not only does the Sea Life Centre offer an incredible experience, but it also works to rescue and protect endangered species.

Cannon Hill Park

Cannon Hill Park is one of the biggest parks across Birmingham, featuring beautiful flowerbeds, trees and lakes. There are lots of attractions for children to enjoy, including a Fun Park full of rides, games and activities, and a Land Train that travels across the park.

Kids can enjoy the play areas dotted across the park or get stuck into a game of mini golf at Golden Putter. If you visit in the summertime, you can take a ride on one of the Swan Lake pedal boats as a family – a fantastic way to relax. Whatever you decide to get up to, Birmingham’s Cannon Hill Park provides a fun day out for all the family.

Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park

Part of Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park is an exciting zoo full of wonderful wildlife, including meerkats, otters and monkeys. Here, children can learn about endangered species and watch the animals being fed by the zookeepers. This conservation park offers an unforgettable day out for those who love animals. Cadbury World

Cadbury World is one of Birmingham’s top places to visit and an unmissable attraction if you love chocolate. Enjoy a self-guided tour as a family and visit several wonderful chocolate zones, such as the Chocolate Making Zone, where you can sample delicious treats.

Learn about where the Cadbury story began and snap a family photo in the Green Screen room – the perfect souvenir from your trip to Cadbury World. There’s also an interactive ride for kids to enjoy, as well as an adventure play area full of rope bridges, climbing zones and tube slides.

Wibbly Wobbly World of Play

The Wibbly Wobbly World of Play is a unique indoor play centre for children – a great place to keep kids entertained on rainy days. Little ones can enjoy hours of active play on the multi-level play structure complete with twirl and drop slides.

There’s also an Elevated Sports arena, Go-Karts and a designated toddler and baby area. Adults can watch their children from the relaxing seating area, and the whole family can enjoy tasty freshly cooked food.

Birmingham Botanical Gardens

Birmingham’s Botanical Gardens are a brilliant place to visit all year round. In the summertime, you can stroll around the 15 acres of picturesque gardens in the sunshine. In the wintertime, kids can enjoy exploring the four glasshouses – including a Subtropical House and a Mediterranean House – and learn about the different kinds of botanical plants.

Head out on one of the educational walking trails, including Magical Plants and Garden Minibeasts, among others. There’s also a children’s adventure playground which features a sandpit, a climbing structure and other fun activities. Bring along a packed lunch or stop for a bite to eat at the Garden’s Pavilion Tea Room, which offers an extensive kids’ menu.

Rush Trampoline Park Birmingham

Kids can have a blast and enjoy an afternoon of energetic fun at Rush Trampoline Park. This venue boasts over 100 wall-to-wall interconnected trampolines as well as 72-foot-long tumble lanes and giant foam pits, among other cool features.

The minimum age for Open Jump sessions is four years old, and younger ones can enjoy the venue’s dedicated Toddler Open Jump sessions. The trampoline park isn’t just for the kids – grown-ups can also bounce to their heart’s content!
