The 3Arena, formerly the o2 is a 14,000 seat amphitheater located in the Dublin Docklands that has been hosting quality musical entertainment since 2008. The venue has held performances by artists such as Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, U2 and Lady Gaga, making it one of Dublin's most exciting and dynamic places to see live music. Events at the 3Arena/o2 Dublin in April 2011 are set to further increase its excellent reputation.

Prolific Irish pop group Westlife have already played five performances at the 3Arena/o2 this April to support their number one album Gravity. Having sold 46 million records worldwide, Westlife has the distinction of being the biggest selling band of the 2000s in the UK, beating out such renowned acts as Coldplay, Oasis and U2.

World-renowned violinist Andre Rieu will perform at the 3Arena Dublin on April 26th. Originally set to play the 3Arena in September of 2010, Rieu was forced to cancel due to ill health and has rescheduled for April. Founder of the Johann Strauss Orchestra, Rieu is the recipient of such honors as the Knight of the Order of the Netherlands Lion and the Knight of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. Those with tickets to the canceled September concert may exchange their tickets for the new date.

Comedian Peter Kay will take the stage at the 3Arena/o2 Dublin for a series of shows beginning on the 28th of April and running through early May. Billed as having one of the most successful stand-up comedy tours ever, the Independent has labeled Kay as Britain's best comedian. All proceeds from each show will be donated to Irish Autism Action, an organization dedicated to bettering the lives of those affected by autism.
