The 2018 England summer tennis season is well and truly here! With lots of British talent as well as international stars competing across the country, there are plenty of opportunities to see your heroes in action.

Nottingham Tennis Centre

The Nottingham Tennis Centre proudly hosts the Aegon Open Nottingham 2018 as men’s and women’s tennis combine once again for an explosive week of on-court action. The Nottingham Tennis Centre is a 10 minute drive from Leonardo Hotel Nottingham or 20 minutes by public transport.

Bank of England Sports Ground


Located in Roehampton, this impressive sports ground is a cricket and tennis stadium.  The Bank of England Sports Ground is 50 minutes by public transport or 50 minute drive from Leonardo Hotel London Croydon.

Wimbledon

The biggest tennis event of the year takes place annually at the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club in Wimbledon. The first championships took place here in 1877 and since then all the tennis greats have played in these majestic grounds. The action takes place between 2nd July and 15th July 2018. While some lucky fans will have gained their ballot tickets, swarms of fans travel to the grounds early each morning of the tournament and queue for hours in the hopes of getting a ticket to sit on the hill, enjoy the Wimbledon strawberries and watch the action on the big screens. Public transport will be your best option as parking would be difficult during the tournament. Leonardo Hotel London Croydon is located approximately 45 – 50 minutes from the stadium by public transport.

The Queen's Club

Established in 1886, the Queen’s Club was the first multipurpose sports complex to be built in the world.
