Jurys Inn picks up six prestigious awards at the 2012 Scottish Hotel Awards

Jurys Inn continues its winning streak after picking up a raft of awards at the 2012 Scottish Hotel Awards.

Catriona Delaney, Deputy General Manager, Jurys Inn Aberdeen beat off tough competition to win the coveted ‘Deputy General Manager of the Year Award’ for Scotland. The award, voted by a number of key Scottish hotelier’s, is an outstanding achievement and accolade from top industry brass.

Jurys Inn Glasgow, General Manager, Barry Rowland, followed his 2010 special commendation at the awards by winning the 2012 Business Performance Gold Medal, for consistently exceeding results as well as his outstanding business performance in the market place. Barry and his team also had cause to celebrate when the hotel picked up Green Hotel of the Year – Large Hotel which they have won 4 years running.

Claire Livingston, General Manager, Jurys Inn Edinburgh picked up the Rising Star Hotel Manager of the Year, an award which not only recognises exceptional performance but also serves to highlight up and coming talent in the hotel industry.

May McLellan, Jurys Inn Glasgow and Josephine Montgomery, Jurys Inn Edinburgh, who have both previously won Housekeeper of the Year (2007/2008) were proud recipients of The Senior Housekeeper Fellowship. The award recognises both May and Josephine’s achievements in setting high standards, creating industry benchmarks as well as the enthusiasm and dedication they bring to their leadership and commitment to their teams.
