Jurys Inn Brighton Wins both the Beautiful South Gold Award for Excellence 2011 for Sustainable Tourism; as Well as winning the award in the Responsible Business Category of the Brighton and Hove Business Awards.
Last Night Jurys Inn Brighton won Gold in the Sustainable Tourism category, of the Beautiful South Awards for Excellence 2011. The awards ceremony took place in Dorking. In order to qualify for the Sustainable Tourism category, entrants were required to demonstrate their level of sustainability through a combination of environmental, community and communication initiatives.
The hotel also made it through to the finals of The Responsible Business Category of the Brighton and Hove Business Awards and subsequently won the award. For the first time, the Brighton and Hove Business Awards formed part of the Sussex Business Awards.

Jurys Inn operates 25 hotels throughout the UK all of which have received a Gold award from the Green Tourism Business Scheme (GTBS). The GTBS demands all its participants adhere to strict criteria covering energy, water efficiency, waste management and biodiversity.
