Jurys Inn summer menu launches with a fresh focus on seafood

Mid-market hotel group Jurys Inn is serving up a summer sensation with a brand new restaurant menu available across its 25 UK hotels. The new menu has been created by the group’s very own Chefs' Circle, comprising five head chefs from across the group. Drawing on customer feedback, the new menu offers flavours and tastes to suit the summer season, such as appetising fish dishes and delicious summer desserts.

Following popular demand, the menu sees the introduction of several seafood dishes from mussels in a white wine and garlic cream to a fillet of sea bass with mussel broth. Each dish offers a hearty, wholesome portion with sauces and sides to compliment the infusion of flavours. With two courses available for just £16.95 or three courses for £19.95, you’ll be sure to be hooked.

The summer menu also sees the return of the grill section, introduced by the group for the first time in November 2012. With the demand for fresh, high quality chargrilled meat continually on the rise, the grill menu, which includes three varieties of succulent steak in addition to a chargrilled half chicken with piri piri sauce, has been positively received across the group.

The choice doesn’t stop there. For vegetarians, a selection of fresh salads and tarts are available to start, followed by summer favourites such as grilled halloumi cheese and tomato bruschetta with fennel and rocket salad. New desserts include a light and delicate Eton mess with raspberry sauce, in addition to a selection of Beechdean farmhouse ice creams made from fresh Jersey milk.

Suzanne Cannon, Group Marketing Manager for Jurys Inn says: “Our Chefs’ Circle has been working very hard on our new menu over the last few months. It is important that we offer a diverse and varied menu to cater for guests visiting our 25 city centre hotels.

For example, guests visiting our Glasgow hotel may have different tastes to those dining at our London hotels. Through our Chefs’ Circle we can ensure these preferences are considered. The new menu draws on a variety of cuisines ranging from Italian, French and Chinese influences to name a few.

Many of our properties have been refurbished over the past six months as part of our £25m upgrade programme and we feel it is really important that we refresh our food and beverage menus to suit.

We hope guests and visitors to our hotels enjoy our new menu and we welcome all feedback, particularly on the dishes that have been introduced for the first time this season.”
