3. Visit the Cavern Club

No trip to Liverpool is complete without visiting the Cavern Club. This legendary underground cellar opened in 1957 as a jazz and skiffle venue before it gained global significance as the birthplace of The Beatles. They performed over 300 gigs on this stage, followed by the Hollies, the Rolling Stones, and the Kinks. The club closed in the early ‘80s but reopened in 1984 and is among Liverpool's most popular sites for tourists and locals alike.
