It’s fun in the sun to the sound of music in the air as the 2011 Summer Bands in Leeds series is once again underway. Music lovers are in for free treats at a bandstand near you, whether that is in a park, on an estate or a recreation ground. Yes, 20 parks, in all, are hosting more than 90 concerts that feature musical talent from all over the region. If you are planning on attending any or indeed a number of them and need a hotel, check out the Jurys Inn range of hotels in Leeds.

Music aficionados can indulge their passion for brass bands, blues, ragtime, Caribbean steel, swing, jazz and junior ensembles. The experience of live music is rejuvenating and quite memorable.
