Southampton has a lot to offer the family including attractions such as Paultons Park, however, over the Christmas period you will find many exciting performances that will be happening throughout. At the Mayflower Theatre, "Irving Berlin's White Christmas The Musical" returns after smashing box office records all over England. This story of two World War II US Army buddies who create the hottest act in town is a classic everyone will love. A 17-piece orchestra accompanies the talented cast of over 30 amazing performers. Get ready to sing along with all your favorite songs; such as "Blue Skies", "Happy Holiday", "How Deep Is The Ocean", and everyone's favorite "White Christmas".

Bob Wallace will be played by Aled Jones, who returns to the role. He brings amazing talent to the show and has done so for many other favorites such as "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang", and "Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". His sidekick, Phil Davis, is played by Adam Cooper has starred in "Swan Lake" and "Guys and Dolls". Louise Plowright will return to her role as Martha Watson. She has also appeared in "Oklahoma" and "42nd Street".

Bring the whole family to a night with "Peter Pan". Follow the boy who doesn't want to grow up through a Neverland fairy tale that you are never too old to enjoy. Peter, Wendy and the Lost Boys will take you on a wonderful fantasy adventure. Don't forget about Tinkerbell and that nasty old Captain Hook! Enjoy amazing flying scenes and brand new scores. Daniel Boys takes on the role of Peter, while Ben Richards gets evil as Captain Hook.

Opera lovers are in for a treat at the Southampton. Welsh National Opera's Don Giovanni is here to entertain you. David Kempster plays Giovanni, the charming, dastardly evil opera villain. The show is sung in Italian with English surtitles.

The Nuffield Theatre presents "The Borrowers". A wonderful Christmas tale for the entire family. This magical story follows the tiny family who live under the floorboards. They have nothing of their own so they "borrow" what they need. When a tiny borrower befriends a boy who lives in the house, a splendid story unfolds. Viewers of all ages will be engrossed in this amazing adventure.

The Southampton Guildhall will be presenting "Handel-Messiah" for one day only in December. They will also be throwing the "Dance Yourself Dizzy Christmas Ball - A Modern Jive Event". This is also a one day only event.
