Out of the Ordinary (OOTO), taking place September 23 - 25, 2011, is a family festival that is ecologically friendly and loaded with amazing events. It celebrates the Earth and our environment and features four arenas of entertainment.

The Earth arena is a learning area while the fire arena features attractions to excite the mind, body and soul. The water arena is a place to relax, and the air arena is filled with the sounds of celebration.

If you are planning on visiting this exciting festival , then Leonardo Hotels have one of the most ideally located hotels in Brighton.

The Earth arena will feature the Willowisp Family Area where family members can spend time being creative together, playing games and generally getting into the spirit of OOTO. This area is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. but may have extended hours for events such as the Children's Parade and Music Performance Workshops. Also in this arena will be Growing Artists, a charity that promotes and uses art for the betterment of society.

There will be incendiary fire shows and comical cabarets in the fire arena. Poi Passion's fire troupe will ignite the crowd's amazement with their flames while the Conscious Cabaret will tickle funny bones with outrageous shows. Those attending the festival will also be able to learn circus skills in the CircusScenes workshops that will be provided in this arena!

Avalon Rising is a project that reminds people that we are the Guardians of our blue-green planet and the responsibilities and privileges that come with that. They will be providing inspirational talks in the water arena encouraging participants to use their power for the greater good of all people. Also appearing in the water arena will be Susan Hall, founder of Earth Wisdom, who will be hosting a number of workshops covering subjects such as herbal medicine and animal communication.

One of the busiest arenas is sure to the air arena where live music will be played throughout the festival. Artists performing will include System 7, Fujiya and Miyagi, Solo Banton, Zubzub, Orchid-Star, Vital, Transformer and many more. Approximately 30 bands will provide reggae, electronica, folk, trance and more! Out of the Ordinary is certain to live up to its name!
