Music events in Dublin in April 2011 are set to be particularly diverse, featuring bands and artists that can appeal to almost any traveler or Dublin local.

In terms of theatre entertainment, Céim Eile - a Festival of Irish Dance Theatre, is playing from April 18th to 23rd at the Civic Theatre in Tallaght. Céim Eile offers three exciting productions on the highs and lows of being an Irish Dancer, featuring Suzanne Cleary and Peter Harding in their electro-inspired alternative Irish Dance show. The Bad Arms - Confessions of a Dodgy Irish Dancer is Maire Clarkin's humourous coming of age story on the more innocent world of Irish Dancing.

If you prefer traditional Irish folk music, Irish folk group Lúnasa are scheduled to play at Whelan's in Dublin on April 30th. Named after an ancient Irish harvest festival, Lunasa is a prolific band that has performed with artists such as Natalie Merchant. The concert starts at 8:00 PM.
