To help you plan your next festival outgoing we’ve made a list of our hotels that are within an hour of the Top UK Festivals this August.

 

Wilderness Festival, Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire


3 – 6 August 2017

Wilderness Festival is a multi-genre music festival set amongst the rich forests, lakes and parklands of Oxfordshire's nature reserves. Combining live music, contemporary arts and an array of theatre, craftsmanship and dining experiences, this festival is equally brilliant for families, nature lovers, culture vultures and fitness enthusiasts!

Boomtown, Winchester


10 – 13 August 2017

Boomtown is proudly advertised as the UK's most immersive and escapist festival! Now in its 9th year, the main stage line-up will consist of ska and party bands from around the world, with the other live music stages offering cabaret, gypsy, folk, reggae, dub and country and western. Enjoy plenty of cabaret, comedy, spoken word, a range of stages, an anarchist theatre, lots of site art and many areas to explore with plenty of catering options!

Our Leonardo Hotel Southampton hotel is located just over an hour train journey from Boomtown, alternatively – you can catch a coach or drive just half an hour to the festival! Make sure you get a good night sleep before you dance the weekend away, or treat yourself by curling up in one of our specious guest rooms after the weekend is done.

 

Creamfields, Daresbury

Creamfields 2017 is set to be the biggest and best yet. The multi-award winning dance festival returns to Daresbury in Cheshire with the biggest electronic line up you’ll see anywhere this year. The line-up mixes together genre breaking pioneers from across the DJ and live music spectrum staged across a Live Outdoor stage and 8-10 arenas!

Reading & Leeds, Little John's Farm & Bramham Park


25 – 27 August 2017

Now in their 42nd and 14th years, the Reading and Leeds festivals are hosted annually over the August Bank Holiday weekend and will feature some of the biggest names in music including The Lumineers, Chase and Status, Bastille, Green Day, Eminem and Biffy Clyro.

Whether you're a first time festival goer or a regular music junkie, camping or just spending a day seeing your favourite acts, we have two hotels, Leonardo Royal Hotel Oxford and Leonardo Hotel Swindon just an hour away so you can take your pick.

 

Shambala, Secret Country Estate, Northamptonshire


24 -27  August 2017

Taking place in a secret location each year, this independent party weekend has won awards for its green efforts, family focus and all round fun times. It’s not often it is recommended taking your kids to a festival, but Shambhala is actively for families just as much as ravers, with kids getting their own fields of activities, workshops, play areas and crèches and even overnight camping adventures.

If you’d prefer to make a family break out of this fun festival, our Leonardo Hotel and Conference Venue Hinckley Island hotel is only a half an hour away, and further afield our Leonardo Hotel Milton Keynes hotel is just under an hour drive.
