Valentine's Day in Prague: The Anniversary Wedding Fair The Anniversary Wedding Fair is held annually at the hotel Diplomat in Dejvice, which is the historical community in Prague. The fair usually runs from February 13th through to February 15th. Not only will guests see a beautiful exhibition of orchids at the Botanical Garden, but the Zoological Garden is also nearby and features many exotic animals.
Valentine's Day in Prague: The Náprsteks Museum This museum of African, Asian and American art is one of the finest museums in Prague, and it hosts a special Valentine treat each year. Throughout the afternoon of February 14th, guests will be treated to a static museum exhibition as well as a play titled "Eunuch from the Virgin Forest" by Pierre-Henri Cami. Following the play, guests will be able to engage in a debate centred on the topic of love in different cultures.
Valentine's Day in Prague: Basilica of St. Peter and Paul If you want to get in touch with your spiritual side, consider visiting the Basilica of St. Peter and Paul. This sacred place houses the remains of St. Valentine. On February 14, the basilica, along with the Center for Families at Archdioceses of Prague, hosts a Pilgrimage of the Fiancées as well as a day-long recollection, or spiritual redemption. To participate in the pilgrimage, couples must sign up in advance. Although some may consider Paris the most romantic city in the world, you'll likely have a change of heart after you visit Prague.
