Sports fans looking to experience a memorable evening in Manchester should look no further than the city's two football juggernauts, Manchester United and Manchester City FC. During the month of April, visitors will be able to catch four separate football matches in Manchester.

April 3: Manchester City vs. Sunderland

Manchester City, the richest football club in the world, hosts Sunderland in the 31st round of the Barclays Premier League. Coach Roberto Mancini is aiming for a win in order to keep Manchester City's hopes of Champions' League qualification alive against league table rivals Chelsea and Tottenham.

April 6: Manchester United vs. Fulham

After a difficult trip to Chelsea for the first leg of the Champions' League quarter-final round, Manchester United will return to Old Trafford to face Fulham on April 6. Sir Alex Ferguson is attempting to keep the club battling in three different competitions and will urge the likes of Rooney and Nani to inspire a win against Fulham to stay on top of the league.

April 12: Manchester United vs. Chelsea

It's one of the Premier League's most attractive contests as Manchester United takes on Chelsea. This promises to be one of the most star-studded affairs of the season, as the likes of Rooney, Giggs and Nani take on Chelsea's John Terry, Fernando Torres and Frank Lampard on Europe's most prominent sporting stage. It's the highlight event of April in Manchester and tickets will go quickly.

April 23: Manchester United vs. Everton

This match comes just one week after the semi-final FA Cup match between Manchester United and Manchester City at Wembley Stadium. The first meeting between Manchester United and Everton this season resulted in a thrilling 3-3 draw. A similarly exciting affair is expected as Manchester United guns for the league title while Everton hopes to make a late surge to achieve Europa Cup qualification.
