The Faulty Towers Dining Experience is happening in November of 2011 on a restaurant ship in London called Hispaniola. It is an interactive theatre show where the guests become part of the show. Guests are given a three-course lunch or dinner to dine on while the cast acts out scenes from the British TV show Faulty Towers. Sybil and Basil Faulty are the stars of the show, along with their waiter, named Manuel. The interactive experience runs two hours. The show began touring Australia in 1997 and began touring Europe in 2008. The cast of the London production stars Michael Davoren, Alison Pollard-Mansergh and Andy Foreman as Basil, Sybil and Manuel respectively.
The Faulty Tower Dining Experience has been receiving awards at festivals since 2009. The lines heard in the Dining Experience are somewhat based on the TV series' 13th episode. Characters that have been made famous by Prunella Scales, Andrew Sachs and John Cleese are further developed in The Faulty Towers Dining Experience. The British Theatre guided declared The Faulty Towers Dining Experience "a once in a lifetime dining experience."
