Christina Dixon, Guest Services Supervisor at Jurys Inns Liverpool hotel, has been awarded the prestigious 08 Welcome Award, for providing the warmest welcome in the city.
The 08 Welcome Awards are run by Liverpool's Academy of Excellence in Customer Care, which has been set up to develop excellent standards in the fields of retail, tourism and hospitality. As part of the awards scheme, employers and training organisations were invited to nominate staff who work in one of Liverpool's shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, hotels, sports centres or other attractions.
The 08 Welcome Award, for the person who represents and promotes Liverpool in the most positive manner out of all those that entered, was awarded to Christina Dixon for her role as Guest Services Supervisor at Jurys Inns hotel in Liverpool. Christina fought off stiff competition to be recognised for providing the best customer service and care in the city.

Jurys Inns was also recently named as Hotel Group of the Year at the annual UKinbound Awards. UKinbound is the trade association that represents the UK’s inbound tourism businesses.
