Lib Dem Conference Delegates Make Wise Liverpool Hotel Choice
With the conference season approaching, Jurys Inn hotel group is benefitting from the political focus on spending cuts as the lib dems sign up to use the Liverpool hotel of the mid-market group, as their official party conference accommodation headquarters for this year (18th – 22nd September).
For the first time ever, a political party in Government will not use a four or five star hotel as its official conference base as the parties follow the example of Government departments, businesses and households saving money by making smarter, better value spending decisions.
Coalition partner, the Liberal Democrats have chosen the 310 bedroom Jurys Inn Liverpool as their main conference hotel for Ministers, MPs and delegates. The hotel is confident that the efficient and friendly service for which Jurys Inn is known, will be widely appreciated by politicians and their advisors as they work well into the night.
There will be 24 hour refreshments available in addition to all the facilities a delegate would expect including comfortable rooms, quality restaurant and well stocked bar. Jurys Liverpool is also opening a second ‘pop-up’ bar, a snack station and a wine corner which to help avoid the all too familiar bar scrum. For those in need of a quick, hot, freshly made breakfast for the morning after the night before, the hotel is also providing an omelette station where chefs will crack eggs to order.
James Rush, General Manager at the Jurys Inn Hotel in Liverpool said: “We are committed to providing a genuinely friendly and efficient service that is of good value for money. So I applaud the decision of a party in Government to follow its own manifesto in seeking to make budget cuts without affecting the quality of their hotel experience.
“The party has made a wise choice as our rooms and facilities are of a high quality and our prices are much more competitive than the conference hotels the party will have used in the past.”
He added: “We’re always willing to go that extra mile for our guests and my dedicated team will be available around the clock to attend to any additional requests such as arranging taxis or escorting delegates to and from the short walk to the conference centre with Jurys umberellas should it rain. So I’m sure the MP’s Ministers, delegates and the media will all enjoy their stay and our friendly hospitality, which is what we’re known for.”
