Enjoy Bedtime Reading with Jurys Inn This Summer

submited Tue 06 Aug, 2013

Jurys Inn offers a choice of children’s books with the Jurys Inn Little Library

Looking to keep the kids entertained over the summer holidays? Jurys Inn has teamed up with Egmont Press to offer its younger guests some great bedtime reading over the summer period. The Jurys Inn Little Library includes up to ten exciting titles which will be available for families who stay with Jurys Inn this summer to borrow for free.

As Royal Baby fever continues to sweep the nation, younger kids can enjoy the popular ‘Royal Fairytale’, a fun-filled picture book story of a real-life prince, his beautiful princess, a royal romance and of course . . . a bouncing baby, written by Joanna Rivard and illustrated by Adam Larkum.  Alternatively, settle down together to read all about everybody’s favourite knight ‘Sir Charlie Stinky Socks and the really big adventure’ by Kristina Stephenson.

Jurys Inn has a wide range of titles suitable for all age ranges including the very funny, award-winning book by Andy Stanton, ‘You’re a bad man, Mr Gum’, ‘Ellie May Would Like to be Taken Seriously for a Change’ by Marianne Levy, as well as ‘Collette the Cow’ by Nina Govan, a board book from renowned global clothing brand, Olive&Moss for babies containing simple stories and gentle learning in a tactile, padded-format, perfect for little hands.

The Jurys Inn Little Library is currently available at Jurys Inn Aberdeen; Belfast; Birmingham Derby; Exeter; Manchester; Plymouth; Southampton and Jurys Inn Watford.

Why not stay at Jurys Inn Birmingham and visit Cadbury World where one night’s B&B for a family of four, 2 adults and 2 children sharing with a family ticket to Cadbury World is available from £108.  Stay at Jurys Inn Derby and experience the Alton Towers Package where one night’s B&B, based on 2 adults & 2 children sharing with up to four entry tickets to Alton Towers is available from £160.

Suzanne Cannon, Group Marketing Manager of Jurys Inn says: “We’re delighted Egmont has partnered with us to create our very own Little Library.  After a great day out there’s nothing better than curling up with a good book. We really hope our young guests will enjoy these fantastic stories when they stay with us this summer but don’t forget the Little Library and our family leisure packages are available all year round”.

Jo Hardacre, Publicity Manager at Egmont Press says: “We’ve all arrived at a hotel to find that we’ve overlooked something essential while packing the bags. When staying with children, bedtime stories are something no-one wants to be without, so I’m sure the Jurys Inn Little Library will be welcomed by many guests travelling with children. We see it as a great opportunity for children and their parents to enjoy some of the great books and authors from our extensive list”.

With leisure package prices starting from just £77 including breakfast, and children under 12 staying free when sharing with parents, Jurys Inn is the ideal base for a family getaway this summer.  Plus don’t forget the Jurys Inn summer sale is still offering up to 20% off stays from 19th July - 8th September.  For the best prices, book direct at www.jurysinns.com or call 0870 4100 800.
