Jurys Inn hotel group has appointed Jason Dalus as City General Manager to manage and oversee the business of both Jurys Inn Newcastle and the group’s newest hotel, Jurys Inn NewcastleGateshead Quays.
At just 29 years of age, Jason brings extensive experience to the role having worked his way up the managerial ladder at Travelodge. Jason gained three years experience in the role of General Manager and the last three years saw him promoted to the role of District Manager for Scotland & Cumbria regions and most recently District Manager looking after the North East of England.
Originally from Newcastle, Jason has a BA (Hons) in Accounting, which he gained from Northumbria University. Glad to be working back in his home town, Jason says:

This is an exciting time in my career as, not only will I be working at one of the city’s newest hotels Jurys Inn NewcastleGateshead Quays, we have also just completed a £1.25 Million Refurbishment at Jurys Inn Newcastle, which has transformed the public areas, bedrooms and our conference facilities.
Following Jurys Inn Newcastle’s recent bronze award win in the Large Hotel of the Year category at the North East England Tourism Awards, we will be striving to take the business forward by communicating, to both our local and national corporate bookers, the fantastic facilities we have at both of our hotels.”
