Last Friday Liverpool and Republic of Ireland legend John Aldridge slipped on the red jersey of LFC to take on Toffees fan and Jurys Inn Liverpool GM James Rush at Subbuteo in order to welcome the newest addition to the European Capital of Culture and officially open the hotel to the public.
The new £28million, 310 room hotel follows the successful Dublin based hotel group’s formula of offering guests superior budget accommodation with a stylish bar and restaurant in the heart of the city.
The Group have recruited more than 100 staff for the new hotel and have employed a rigorous training schedule in preparation for the opening on 18 April 2008.
Set in an incredible riverside location, the Jurys Inn is part of the Kings Waterfront development which incorporates the new 10,600 capacity Liverpool Echo Arena and 1,350 seater Convention Centre. It is adjacent to the ever-popular Albert Dock; home to cafes, bars, nightclubs, shops and the iconic Tate Gallery.
Rates start from £69 per room per night. For more information about Jurys Inns visit www.jurysinns.com.
